Hello. I am Rob Rider.

I am one of only a handful of Certified Fascial Stretch Specialist’s™ in Virginia and one of only a few HUNDRED at my level in the WORLD.

I was first introduced to Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (FST) randomly, as a client early in 2016 and I fell in love with it immediately!! Feeling the difference it made with my chronic pain and discomfort was a game changer for me and I quickly decided I wanted to learn as much as I could about it and share how powerful it is with others.

I achieved my Level 1 certification in September of 2016. I moved through my Level 2 course in 2017 and finished off my nineteen-month journey with a Life Stretch™ Instructor certification and my Level 3 in the spring of 2018. To date I have nearly 130 hours of course education, and you can count my hours of session time with clients, to include professional athletes in the thousands.

I’m also a Certified Massage Therapist, graduating from the Central Maryland School of Massage in 2013. I have worked in multiple massage environments, including spending 4 years at Hideaway Massage, voted Best Massage Studio in Loudoun County several years running. I hold certifications in sports, deep tissue and Swedish massage along with trigger point therapy. I’ve also been certified in and have developed my own protocol working with head, neck and shoulders.

Prior to my move into the bodywork industry I enjoyed a very successful management career in the service industry. Being of service to people is what I’ve always wanted to do and during my 30-year career I’ve stayed true to professionalism and customer/client service above all else. And now I pledge those same values to every one of my clients.

I am also a big believer in educating the client. All too often clients come in feeling frustrated that they’ve been seen by other medical professionals but don’t feel they’ve been very well informed. It’s important to me to absorb what the client has to say, then whether it’s knowledge to benefit them between sessions, or a better understanding of what’s going on in their body, I do my best to make sure my clients leave the session informed and empowered.

I am also a big believer in educating the client… I do my best to make sure my clients leave the session informed and empowered.
